About the Winemaker
In 2006 Ca' de' Medici purchased the winery Caprari (1924), renown for its excellent wines, aiming to demanding customers, from restaurants to wine shops.
Throughout its long tradition, Medici family has always selected grapes coming from the best suitables areas.
In its uniqueness, Emilia Romagna has always been renown as a land suited to growing grapes, thanks to a wide range of historically recognized terroir.
The wines produced at Ca' de' Medici are appreciated in Italy and throughout the world for their genuine quality which differentiates them from more commercial products.
The strength of their company is and has always been their family, that today is represented by the generations, the fourth teaching to the fifth.
In 2011, on the 100th anniversary of its winner at the Expo in Rome and in honour of its founder Remigio, Ca' de' Medici created a new product, "Remigio Family Lambrusco".
